Suirin was founded in 1992, as the group of people who have will to learn and
practice healing, awareness and learning of mind, body and spirit.
Some of our activities are:
-operate holistic space Suirin for members and Miorine for visitors.
-provide various seminars, workshops, healing stay, working study stay,
original sessions and everyday session.
-issue newsletter 5 times a year.
-organize Special Olympics, volunteer activities of cleaning national parks.
-organize seminars for managers,
-operate "Agri-Renaissance Shinshu"(network for agriculture and food)

　My daughter Saori was born with a heavy brain injury on April 3, 1975.
As her parents, we were not able to understand why Saori was born in this
world, and we had to experience suffering and sadness.
We spent everyday to learn how to accept this reality.

　At that time, we had made efforts to change social system, medical technology and support volunteer activities. However, we found that no matter how well society, medical technology and economy system improved, we were
not able to obtain true inner peace. In order to change our life completely, we moved to Iizuna Highland in Nagano, the altitude of 1100 meters, 24 years ago.
In autumn of 1980, we've come to realization that nothing is worthwhile attaining without deepening of true selves; thus, the days of learning had started. The world of our learnings has extended from the medical treatment,
consciousness, mind, art to economy.
We named our small house "Saori-an (Saori's room)".
We felt peace of mind, even with humble meal such as brown rice, vegetables,
and miso soup.
When we took a walk with Saori, she talked to winds, birds, flowers and
sunlight beyond our imagination. She connects to lives of blessed.
Nature of Iizuna teaches us that everything in the world lives as one.
We truly found the meaning of Saori's existence and her life.
Saori taught us that our love to Saori has turned into awareness of greater
love to all others.

　In 1992, Suirin Club was born with the help of leaders of various fields.
The purpose of foundation is that each of us bring back health of body and mind.
The growth of mind to live together with others, to contribute to humanity,
society and environment. In 1993, Holistic Space Suirin was established with the great help of supporters.
In 1998, guest house Miorine opened to provide healing and learning through
seminars, workshops and staying programs.

　It has been 24 years since we moved to Iizuna.
"Be here now" means "be here now together".
We felt we need more love and responsibility for next generation beyond
self-satisfaction。
We plan Suirin Whole Life University, as development of Suirin Club,
including deep learning of culture, art, science, philosophy, medical science
and activities such as agriculture, food, clothing, housing, forestry,
fishery and economy.
It aims creation of a new holistic life space living together, where each of
us create light of life and harmony and deepening quality of life through birth
to death.

　First step is planning of "Suirin Natural Farm" to learn life of earth.
In order to acquire a license for farm land, we founded a company Suirin
Natural Farm in December 2003. Also we are working on planning of Whole Life
University.

　We would like our dream; "contributing to evolution of human consciousness" ,come true.
We deeply appreciate if you understand and make our dream come true together.

The origin of word holistic is Greek word "holos" which means "overall" ,ﾓall
universe"," whole" and "heal" born from the same origin.

　Suirin has holistic view from medical science, education, culture, art,
science, economy, food, clothing and been founded with supports of
leaders from various fields. Suirin and Miorine promote activities of such as
health, ecology, social support from viewpoint of mind, body and spirit.

　We bring you short and long stay, various seminars, company and employee
training, healing plan, counseling, events, concerts to promote learning and
awareness of guests.
Also, working meditation such as self-service of meals and cleaning of rooms
is for balance of intellect and sensitivity. You will choose style of work
or seminars and events according to your condition of health of mind and body.

　Visitors(non-members) are also welcome to seminars and staying.
